In my opinion, the elements of the Vitruvian Triad ranked from most to least important would be Firmitatis, Utilitatis, then Venustatis. Firmitatis, or stability, should be the highest priority because a structure must be well-built and safe. Utilitatis should rank next because a building should serve a function and be efficient and practical. Venustatis, or beauty, is not necessary and does not affect the ability to use the built structure. However, if additional resources are available after stability and function are achieved, beauty can enhance the building.
