In my opinion, the most important part of the Virtruvian Triad is Utilitatis. A building is of no value if it cannot be utilized in the fashion that it is intended to. I believe that Firmitatis is the second most important factor of the Virtruvian Triad. A building must be stable and capable of standing for a long period of time for not only its significance, but also the safety of the people using the building. I rank Venustatis as the least important of the Virtruvian Triad because it is purely aesthetic, and not necessary for a building. However all of the three are essential to creation of an architectural masterpiece.
