Among the three principles of Vitruvian Triad, I think firmitatis is more important than utilitatis and venustatis is the least important one. Firmitatis is most crucial to an architect because it decides the strength and quality of the building, which is the most basic function. Utilittis is more important than venustatis because it is the function of an architect that decides which type of ornament to use. In most cases in ancient times, people construct an architect for use but not only for view. In modern times, people consider beauty as an important factor to value an architect, almost as important as utility. This is probably because architects have already developed to an extent that utility has became the basic qualification.
