In my opinion, Vitruvius Triad in order from most important to least important would be firmitas, utilitas, and venustas. Firmitas means the need for structural integrity and as a future civil engineer I know that structure is the most important aspect. Utilitas means every structure has a purpose. This is important because the specific types of buildings call for different needs such as the amount of emergency exists a hospital requires versus what a prison needs. Venustas means a building should be beautiful, while this is important, beauty can be subject to personal preference and everyones opinion is different.
