The Greeks focused more on the Doric and the Ionic Order. Both of these columns are very plain and undecorated. The Romans focused more on the Corinthian order. These columns were much more detailed and precise. The Romans stuck to a more ornate look compared to the Greeks. The purpose of these buildings were also different. For the greeks most of their architecture was art that was designed to honor their Gods which lead to a less ornate interior. While the Romans more focused on the beauty of the architecture which lead them to have both very ornate interiors and exteriors.
