This picture is a painting known as The School of Athens. In the painting you can see everything is very symmetrical. This was a key aspect of Renaissance architecture and can be related back to the Vitruvian Man. The painting also contains many great philosophers and mathematicians, which signifies the importance of science and math in architecture during the Renaissance Period. The arches in the back are very proportional in respect to the whole painting which was also a key characteristic during this time. While this is a very nice painting and has a lot of meaning behind it there is nothing crazy or spectacular in it. Rather everything in the painting is just very clean and precise emphasizing balance.
