One picture shows Borromini’s San Carlo Alle Quattro Fontane which provides use of ovals over circles, an undulating facade that makes the stone look like it’s bending at will, and a sense of grandeur and drama. The second picture is Bernini’s take on David, which is very different from Michelangelo’s David from the high Renaissance because the piece delivers a sense of movement and dynamics as David is seen twisting and primed to throw a rock.
