Personally, I think that I side with Didascolo because I tend to enjoy the ornamental aspect of architecture, which he references quite often. I also agree with Didascolo over his point that the ornamentation that is included by architects is what separates architects from traditional builders. On top of that, I think that if architecture were to turn it’s back on the ornamentation and creative side, it would turn into relative redundancy, and less of individual art.
