I side with Didascolo because I believe that architecture is nuanced and subjective for there to be hard rules that must always be followed. With there being so many different styles of architecture each with their own merits and intricacies, every follower of their respective style could argue that their own style is the greatest and should be the universal style that everyone else should follow. I also agree with Didascolo’s argument that if every building followed the same exact rules, that architecture would become bland and monotonous.
