The Beaux Arts style is basically coming from ancient Greece and Rome where it had the ideas of symmetry, order, type of design that was used in architecture. Also the fact that there was also a mixture of Italian and French Renaissance elements. Materials such as stone, marble, limestone, and brick were used in creating many of the buildings. The Palais Garnier and the Pantheon are similar in that they both contain the elements of how they both use the idea of symmetry in their buildings though the Pantheon uses differently in the ornamentation when designing the structure. This includes the fact that they use gold and as well as other elements.
