Personally, I enjoy the idea of bringing green space into the city, especially with high density living, it is important to maintain a connection with nature. So, as discussed in class, Le Corbusier’s point of having a roof garden carries the most personal appeal to me. While it has the benefit of providing insulation, it also provides an opportunity for city residents to enjoy green spaces, bringing all the health benefits associated with nature. It also is refreshing to see city development and nature working in tandem, rather than against each other as we typically see in city planning.
