I believe that the order to which Vitruvius’ triad should be considered is first firmitatis, second venustatis, and third utilitatis. I believe that stability is most important because you want a structure to be sturdy and safe. Also most structures are designed to be built to last. Then I chose beauty because for me, the beauty of a building defines the whole building. Im from NY and I love staring at buildings in the city that are just beautiful works of art. then I chose utility last because I value the other two slightly more. I understand that buildings need to have meaningful purposes but I would be willing to sacrifice this for the first two.
