The point made by Vitruvius’ Triad holding the most importance is Firmitatis, which means stability or durability. The structure of a building determines its functionality, therefore without a stable structure there is no means for Utilitatis. If a building cannot withstand exposure to natural elements the architectural beauty will be worn away. With that being said, the root of architecture comes from the form of the building. The second most important point is utilitatis because without functionality the building serves no purpose. Venustatis has the least importance because it is purely for visual appeal and cultural representation.
