In my personal opinion, firmitatis (stability) is the most important in Vitruvius’ Triad. This is because without stability, there would be no structure at all, as it is what holds the building together. Next, I believe venustatis (beauty) is the most important because beauty is a major reason that attracts people to these buildings, if it were not for their beauty they may not have been as iconic as they are today. Utilitatis, though still very important, is in my opinion the least important in Vitruvius’ Triad simply because stability and beauty outweigh it.
