If I had to rank the Vitruvian Triad in order of importance, I would rank Firmitatis first, Utilitatis second, and Venustatis third. I believe Firmitatis is the most important because it emphasizes stability and a sense of a base, which lends to a foundation. I would put Utilitatis second because while utility is very important, stability leads to more importance. I would put Venustatis last because while beauty is a large element of Architecture, it’s more of an embellishment in comparison to the other two elements.
