In my opinion Romanesque has a lot of same styles comparing with Gothic style, but Gothic architecture does have few vertical styled design element. They emphasized the column s’ affection of the entire architecture. Differently, Romanesque style emphasized more about the wall based elements. Because of this, I think the Romanesque architectures are having a better comprehension while Gothic styles are more transparent.
