The School of Athens can represent the architectural style and ideas in the Renaissance period. In the painting, vanishing points and linear perspective are revealed as a characteristic element of architects in the Renaissance period. Proportion, which is eurythmia, is stressed in this painting, coincident with Vitruvius’s principal. The central figures are Plato and Aristotle, which shows that renaissance is a rebirth of Rome.
