Both works are Baroque and portray that style. On the left, the architecture has ovate qualities which are very common in baroque works. The top of it is also wavy which helps portray movement which was a key aspect of the baroque period. On the right, the statue is very fluid and shows a lot of motion, which as I stated earlier was very prominent within this style. Another aspect to keep in mind when looking at these works is perspective. The building was designed with the perspective in mind, since it would be seen from the street below.
