On the left is Borromini’s Sant Carlo alla Quatro Fontane, on the right is Bernini’s David. Both were prominent artists during the Baroque period with Borromini eventually becoming more renowned for his architecture versus Bernini’s excellence in sculpture. They both are emblematic of the Baroque period. The church has a beautifully ornamented exterior and ceiling and is fluid-like with curvatures and ovals (possible cartouche at top?). David is a sculpture in motion that is clearly perceived through his posture and garments in arguably contrapposto.
