On the left is San Carlo Alle Quattro Fontane (Borromini) and on the right is of David (Bernini). Both of these works are Baroque, Borromini and Bernini were instrumental to the period with Borromini associated with architecture and Bernini associated with art. These works are both Baroque due to the movement in the design, in the case of San Carlo the façade is wavy and David is obviously in motion throwing a stone. Additionally, the perspective is very important with the building meant to be viewed from the street and the sculpture of David promoting the viewer to walk around it.
