On the left is San Carlo Alle Quattro Fontane, a work of Borromini and the sculpture on right is a of David and is a work of Bernini. Both of these works of art are representative of the Boroque style, boasting a decorative and elaborate style. The church has a lot of ovals, typical of the Baroque period. The statue of David displays a wave like motion and seems to represent a sort of flowing motion rather than a standing pose of a typical statue. The movement that the statue portrays is unique to the Baroque period.
