The statue on the right is David. The statue is from the bible and is David throwing a rock at Goliath. The David statue was done by Bernini and was done in the Baroque period. The statue is very clean and has easy edges. The left side is the “San Carlo alla Quattro Fontane,” by Borromini. The Baroque period we see a lot of ovals in the design and this is how we can tell that this structure is from that time period. We can also can see corinthian columns that signify this period as well.
