Both works shown are products of the Baroque period and that is seen by the elegant and “flowy” nature of the two works. As with many Baroque works, the are many elements of movement in their designs. In Bernini’s depiction of David he is seen in the process of throwing his stone and in the building on the left the many ovate and wave-like designs evoke the similar concepts.
