San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane by Borromini on the left and David by Bernini on the right both famous artistic works of the baroque period. Borromini’s San Carlo Alle Quattro Fontane is a traditional Baroque structure with decorative inlayed statues and plentiful use of columns and ornate decorations. Davids movement’s were capture by Bernini to show him fighting in an animated and dynamic manor; this 3d effect is distinctive of the baroque period.
