I disagree with Protopiro’s side and agree with Didascolo. Architecture should not be confined to rules that it never had in the first place. By putting strict rules and ascribing something to be the original perfect architecture it takes away the possibility of creativity and will create a boring repetition of the same form of “huts”. With the expectation of rules, it takes away the purpose of architects. Whereas following Didascolo’s thinking, the importance of the architect comes when tasked with bringing different elements of value together and having it still be harmonious and pleasing to the viewer.
