For me, I think it is valid to side with Protopiro and not Didascalo because in regards to Protopiro his work is classical and he is extremely vivid with his styles in architecture. Didascalo’s work is more ornamented and resembles more of gothic work. The beauty with gothic architecture holds strong in terms of being symmetrical and balanced with order. In contrast to Protopiro, his work is valued more as structured unlike the perfection his opposition thrives for. Didascalo values his work as less traditional and differs more on the aspect of art that is individualistic.
