I agree with Didascalo. A lot of the changing architecture styles was due to religion. For example the gothic period used verticality because of the belief it’s godlier. Also opposition of traditional rules is seen throughout each period as it progresses. I also think the ornamentation of architecture is what makes it unique from another work.
