Personally I side with Didascalo because I believe architects are artists and the buildings they’re designing are their canvas and if one were to limit this, then you would take away their creativities and freedoms. I do find Protopiro’s side interesting because Ancient Greece architecture established a sensation of austere and stability into their structures, however, complex ornamentation exhibits the building’s uniqueness and the visions of very talented architects.
