I would side with Didascalo because I believe that ornamentation allows for freedom and an opportunity to display creativity when it comes to architecture. I acknowledge Protopiro’s argument about having simplistic style and proportion, but this limits the architect and their creativity. There is definitely an art to proportion and a beauty to its characteristics but I overall agree more with Didascalo in that ornamentation is a bit more unique and creative.
