I personally would side with Didascolo over Protopiro. The reason I like Didascolo better is because of his willingness to be more open to the different aspects of architecture. Protopiro liked a less ornimentated style with more complexity within in its structures. Didascolo also put less limits on his work which allowed him to be more unique and create his own style which is recognizable as his over other architects. Didascolo was also big into oreimentation of buildings which I feel is important in architecture because it adds uniqueness to buildings.
