With regards to siding with Didascalo or Protopiro, I would side with Didascalo. I believe that an architect is an artist and the building or structure that they are designing is their canvas. If one were to attempt to limit this, then you would be taking away their creativity and freedoms. Contrary to the ideals of Protopiro, the establishment of a sensation of austere and stability during Ancient Greece is not very intriguing to me; however; the portrayal of complex ornamentation helped exhibit the building’s uniqueness and the visions of the renowned architects during the time.
