Labrouste’s work has many elements of classical architecture with some modern ideas mixed with it. Some of its classical elements include ribbed vaults along with its greek capitals and columns. Some of his modern elements include the uses of windows and more specifically the cast iron on the windows and columns. Along with some other modern elements are the arches and metal columns which were used to create more sturdier/stronger structures.
