The Palais Garnier a prime work from the Beaux Arts period and is heavily comparable to many works of times previous, including the Pantheon of Ancient Rome. The Palais Garnier is highly ornamented in comparison to the Pantheon, as it is an opera house. The work includes many neoclassical details/sculptural accents such as festoons and includes beautiful detail. The work is similar to the Pantheon and other works of Ancient Rome in many regards, Palais Garnier is symmetrical, there is arcuation, and we see classical elements such as the Antiquity orders on the columns.
