Identify one of Le Corbusier’s ‘Points’ that appeals most to you and describe why this point carries personal appeal.
The point that appeals to me most is the ribbon window. I like that point the most because I think that the amount of light affects how we function in a space. Often it feels like windows and natural lighting are always an afterthought in hotel lobbies, schools, and commercial buildings. I think that the more natural light in a room, the happier people are and the more productive they are. The ribbon window creates a light environment through the entire building, making it much more hospitable.
Fun Fact: I genuinely want to design buildings because of windows and the way people function in spaces with natural light vs without.
