One of Le Corbusier’s points that most appeals to me is the Roof Garden. It involves having nature on the roof of the building. This allows for the incorporation of nature into the building, and is a productive use of the roof. In most cases, the roof becomes extremely hot during the summer, and the plants provide shade, which makes the roof a cooler place during summer. According to the lecture, the plants also provide insulation, which would definitely be beneficial during winter. This appealed to me the most because I can still see examples of this happening on tall apartments.
