Le Corbusier’s point 4, ribbon windows, is the idea of a stripe of window continuously running around the facade of a house. A ribbon window is dependent on having a free facade and it ensures even lighting throughout a building. Ribbon windows are the most appealing point to me because of the even distribution of light. Lighting can make or break a building, especially a house that you live in. It can define aesthetics and feelings about the structure. Le Corbusier’s importance on Lighting highlights his in-depth study into various features of architecture.
