Identify one of Le Corbusier’s ‘Points’ that appeals most to you and describe why this point carries personal appeal.
I think that Le Corbusier’s first point, the Pilotis, appeals most to me. This is because I understand the necessary support these skinny columns must have to bare the weight of the rest of the structure. Additionally, the arrangement of the columns where they might be in order and equidistant provides a very pleasing open concept space. Obviously this isn’t an entirely open concept but the columns baring the support versus many walls is definitely a better option for a more cohesive floor plan.
