All of Le Corbusier’s ‘Points’ are valid especially in his Modern works. As someone who grew up in the Poconos, I have a hard time in cities where it truly looks and feels like a “concrete jungle.” For this reason, the Roof Garden appeals to my love for nature and the outdoors. Something as simple as a garden worked into the architecture is beautiful as well as important. It reiterates the emphasis on access to fresh air. By working a garden into the roof I appreciate the reincorporation of ‘green.’ Le Corbusier was thinking in the right direction with this point!
