From Le Corbousier’s 5 points of architecture, the free ground plan is most important to me. I like the idea of having the freedom of designing the layout, form, and space of a building without many constraints. I know many houses without open concept layouts that cannot change or modify their layouts because of load bearing walls. Open concept and the ability to design the actual space of a place is important to the overall vibe of a residence or corporate building. To me, the free ground plan makes the most impact on a building compared to the other points.Â
