Identify one of Le Corbusier’s ‘Points’ that appeals most to you and describe why this point carries personal appeal.
The point of Corbusier that appeals most to me would be the Roof Garden. I think with any city there should be in introduction of nature in any manner. I think with his inclusion of contemporary and even progressive lifestyles, the roof is the perfect location it would create a beautiful dynamism if the buildings were to be different elevations. This roof garden combines the a perfect balance of architecture with nature and it would speak to what Olmsted tried to do which was to preserve nature in such an industrial location because he believed nature plays a role in architecture.
