Le Corbusier’s point of a free ground plan appeals to me the most because I think if it as working on a clean slate. When you don’t have to worry about structural setbacks in architecture, it creates freedom to what the architect can do in the work. The pilotis and Maison Dom-ino create the structure, while there is creative freedom for the form of the building.
