To me, the large horizontal windows are the most appealing point in Le Corbusier’s system. Having a window that spans the length of a building is something that was previously infeasible due to the structural needs of a building. The large window allows for great amounts of sunlight and a connection to nature while also encouraging architects to use fewer floor-to-ceiling walls that break up a building into segments. Personally, This is my favorite point as I am a sucker for a good view.
